The platforms, the purchase options, and the details that make a difference.

Which platforms receive GTA VI at launch?
Rockstar lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for the November 19, 2026 launch. A PC release date is not confirmed in the official launch information. Check Rockstar’s GTA VI page for updates.
Should I buy digital or physical?
Digital purchases are made through your console’s store. A PSN gift card adds wallet credit for a separate PlayStation Store purchase. Rockstar’s current edition guide says the physical box contains a download code with no disc included. Both routes require downloading the game. Confirm the platform, edition, region, and box contents on the retailer’s listing.
How do Kinguin gift cards work for pre-orders?
Choose a PlayStation Store wallet card for the same region as your PSN account. After the seller supplies the code, redeem it through PlayStation Store to add funds, then purchase the available GTA VI pre-order directly from the store. The gift card itself does not include GTA VI. Compare the seller, region, total fees, delivery terms, and refund conditions before paying. See PlayStation’s redemption guide.
Will a PSN gift card work in any country?
PlayStation requires the voucher region to match your account region. Check your account’s country and the listing’s currency before purchasing. Redeemed funds cannot be transferred between accounts. PSN cards are for PlayStation purchases; they cannot fund an Xbox purchase.
How much free storage should I prepare?
GTA VI’s final install size is unconfirmed in the linked official information. Treat 150GB+ as a planning estimate and check the platform store for the actual requirement before downloading. A compatible 2TB M.2 SSD is an optional PS5 storage upgrade. Xbox Series consoles use different storage expansion hardware.
